Celebrating 60 Years
Since our inception more than 60 years ago, the Baldwinsville Lions have continued to support the primary
goals of Lions International, to help the blind and visually handicapped in our community by providing
leader dogs, training, personal aids such as canes, talking clocks, scales and watches, and transportation.
We also collect used eyeglasses for the underprivileged throughout the world and help with funding of eye
exams and glasses for those in need locally.
The Baldwinsville Lions Club also awards annual scholarships and supports Ithaca Camp Badger and Lion's
Camp Hickory, a two-week summer day camp for kids with type 1 diabetes at Lions Community Park on the
Seneca River in Baldwinsville.
Funding for projects have included games of skill booths at local festivals such as Seneca River Day,
Beaver Lake's Golden Harvest Festival, and Oktoberfest as well as the White Cane Days, raffles, and our
annual 'Spring Fling' brunch, silent auction and raffle.
We're always looking for new members who are looking to help make a difference in their community.

| Who are the Lions? | |
You may know the Lions Club for our work collecting used eye glasses and hearing aides.
We're that, plus much more...
The Baldwinsville Lions support Camp Hickory, a camp for children with type 1 diabetes. We also help keep Route 631 free of trash, take part in the
'Anything that Floats' competitions at Seneca River Days,
and booth at Beaver Lake's Golden Harvest Festival. And that's just the beginning!
